It’s probably the hardest debate to miss: the refugee crisis. There is no politician who doesn’t have an opinion on the subject and they don’t shy away from voicing it. For the most part, 99 percent of everything we know about refugees is something that a politician, expert or newswriter has told us.

I think that is unfair. Most of us know more refugees than we think. Perhaps it's because they behave quite normally, but it doesn’t change the fact that they've seen a totally different reality than us from Tarup.

Go to Theater 95b and experience some young, brave refugees telling you how it is to fly across a continent to then meet the Danish society. It’s guaranteed that you’ll learn something about them, but there’s also something to learn about ourselves.
